I have not been to Paxton Pits for a while as it can get pretty muddy when it is wet. I hoped that the mud would be frozen yesterday and in places it was. In fact it was not as muddy as I expected. Yes it was another frosty morning in Cambridgeshire and the fronds of frost were a bit longer. Some dogs are well dressed for the conditions. The two dogs below and later in the post came in different vehicles and they were so excited to get together the sounds they made ranged from high pitched whimpers to deep barks. They calmed down after a half mile or so along the meadow trail. Some of the lakes were largely frozen. The light was a joy including in the final image where the greenhouse across the river was beautifully backlit.
