I know it is hard to believe but it does occasionally rain in Scotland as it has done today. I spent the night at my brother Jim’s house in Dumfries before running up the road to my sister Anne’s house this morning. It is one of the most scenic drives in the Scottish borders from Moffat along the A701 to Penicuik and I always look forward to it. I am normally rolling along after a long run up from Cambridgeshire so tend not to stop for photos so this was going to be the perfect opportunity. You can see from the photos that the weather played its part and the there was plenty of water in the River Tweed. Enjoy! I did.
