It was Apple Day in Potton on Sunday and I popped along hoping to see Caroline and her fellow musicians in Ragged Staff entertain the crowd. My timing was out and I missed their set but caught a chunk of Drunk and Disorderly’s set which got a few dancing. We played here a couple of years ago but could not make it this year. Whether the draw was the music, the cider or other apple related products, it was a popularl event. I took away a bottle of the community orchard cider which went down well with dinner. I parked a distance away at the skate park and walked along the well maintained Millennium path enjoying a glimpse of a moorhen chick. A nice way to spend an hour or so on a Sunday afternoon.
