A Little Catch Up

Friday, 31 May 2024 09:01

It has been an interesting week with a few small home projects in progress, variable weather and occasional trips out to local spots. It seems that it is a bumper year for foxgloves at the Lodge adding a flash of colour on grey days. The grass on the Galley Hill Fort looks great. Unlike close friends who are lucky enough to have pheasants in their garden I usually only get a glimpse while I dodge them in the car but a handsome chap was viewing his estate in the sun on the new heath, posing for me. The flowers in the Swiss Garden are impressive, as usual, and worth a quick walk. These include more foxgloves. There is even a flower on a German WW1 plane in the workshop. The local fledgelings are out and about in the garden including a cute hungry bluetit.
