The Dartmoor ponies are back at the Lodge and seem to have settled in pretty quickly. They are a nice addition for us enjoying walks around the reserve. The foxgloves are coming into season and make a nice contrast to the gorse. There is a nice shady spot in the car park at the Lodge under a solar panel array and I was early enough to get parked in the shade.
