A Treat in the Swiss Garden
Wednesday, 26 June 2024 10:59
I wandered slowly through the Swiss Garden and the Shuttleworth Collection on a hot morning yesterday and was treated to a little scaup family. The ducklings were splashing around with mum as she guided them around one of the small ponds. Much of the spring colour has subsided in the garden but some trees are coming into their own. In the collection there was a lot of activity to arrange the planes which will be flying on Saturday and Sunday and accommodating primary school groups learning about the collection including how you fly Grosvenor House to Australia with the visual aid of a large globe. The little ones seemed enthralled.
There is no glass cockpit in a Deperdussin.
