Here are a few snaps from local walks at Paxton Pits, the Swiss Garden and Cambridge. As you can see a little summer time has arrived. A slightly bizarre sight was a dogfight between a Messerschmidt and a Spitfire. Is there a time warp over Paxton Pits. Closer to the ground it is boating season. I don’t regularly see cormorants on the river so this was a treat. There are always lovely water lilies at Paxton pits. There is still plenty of colour in the Swiss garden and an athletic grey squirrel. Although there are plenty of visitors in Cambridge it has not resulted in Scudemore’s punts being busy
