A little overnight rain is always good for interesting morning photos like the headline shot of a spider’s web at the Lodge. I think there is an alien living in that oak tree or it could just be an acorn at the beginning of its life. This photo and the subsequent ones were all shot with an old camera, a Canon G9, which had been on loan to my sister. It still does the business. The flower and acer were in the Swiss Garden and I was in the Shuttleworth Collection when they were carefully manoeuvring the Hawker Tomtit into a hanger. Fine margins and great care. As is quite common these days there were plenty of visitors to Old Warden including coach parties which augurs well for a steady income stream.
