I headed off to Ely yesterday morning and along the way I wondered if it was such a good idea as spots of rain appeared on the windscreen. I need not have worried as that was all the precipitation that I encountered. It was a classic monochrome day which suits the cathedral. I had not been aware that there were some Sean Henry “real people” sculptures around and enjoyed three of them, a young couple, a man with briefcase and tucked up on the face of the cathedral a chap I did not notice until editing the photos! What a treat on a grey day. There are more in the cathedral apparently. I always finish a loop walk along the riverside and there was some intriguing art down there too.
