I did not see the actual full moon thanks to cloud cover but the moon was in full view the night before and it was looking splendid. Last night it was dodging in and out of clouds but clear enough to see it with Jupiter twinkling to the right. The little dot in the picture below is Jupiter. A giant planet so far away but so bright that it appears as a tiny dot in a photograph. Closer to home I watched a red kite searching for prey at the Lodge over typical scenery in this neck of the woods, distribution warehouses. These are in Biggleswade. There are still a few trees hanging on to leaves, as there are in the Swiss Garden, adorned with illuminations for the evening visitors. No matter what time of the year the gardeners ensure there are little colourful delights to enjoy. The other day in St Neots the river was up under stormy skies and the Christmas decorations were also up.
