The anual photo exhibition at the Free Church in St Ives, Interprint, was on yesterday and, for the first time in a few years, I went along. On arrival, above, it was very quiet but the numbers built up as the afternoon progressed. It is always interesting to see what is on offer and there were some cracking photos on display including some excellent nature photos. It was not a lure for the youngsters who have forsaken actual cameras for phones. Capturing a diving kingfisher would be tricky to capture on my iPhone. In the church the lighting is not ideal for viewing prints but can create some nice patterns on the floor. The shoes are Paul’s and Ange’s. I park south of the town across the old town bridge and walk up. There has been quite a bit of rain so far this year but the usual flooding is subsiding on the meadows although the river is still showing considerable run-off.
