Clearing the Data Cards

Tuesday, 7 April 2026 12:29

Time to clear my data cards for my off on a road trip down to Spain. An outline map is here. In fact there has been a variety of things to see over the past week. The biggest set of images is from Anglesey Abbey yesterday where “Wild in Art” statues are in place again for a month. This time the theme is the “Wind in the Willows” with four key characters represented. Another recent location, this time for a first time, was Marston Vale Forest Centre and it’s nature trail. It was recommended and one major hit was watching a chiffchaff. Not in a location for a successful photo though. The strange wall with holes is a sand martin nest wall and those looking on a bigger screen will see three sand martins in the picture. It was a pleasant place for a walk. In between was my regular visit to the Swiss Garden for a walk and a coffee with the treat there being the nesting great crested grebes. Here are some pictures, mainly from Anglesey Abbey.
