Time to clear the decks for the upcoming festive season with some recent snaps at Old Warden, at the Lodge and around town. The last of the leaves are just hanging on after a burst of cold and windy weather. The Shuttleworth Collection engineering team are now working through their winter tasks in the hangers to get the wonderful collection in good shape for 2025, including a major re-skinning of the Dragon Rapide. It means that the Engineering hanger is a constant hive of activity adding interest to the season. I get a regular visit from a grey squirrel in the garden but this is the first time I have had two at the same time. In St Neots we had some flooding in the recent storms but this time pretty minor. We have our own little version of the Amazon confluence at Manaus with the confluence of Hen and Fox Brooks with the Fox bringing the mud.
