BRIAN REID PHOTOGRAPHER

A local roundup

Here are a few pictures from local spots as the autumn colours start to fade. At Anglesey Abbey the little robin above was serenading the many visitors to this popular National Trust site. They try to create interest throughout the year and a world photography exhibit included some amazing photos. There was plenty of colour remaining as there was at the Swiss Garden earlier in the week where the peacocks were unusually visible. Along the Embankment in Bedford the trees have lost most of their leaves. There was plenty of colour in and around St Pauls church in the town with a fruit and veg market and an exhibition of beautiful moth and butterfly illustrations. As I walked around the sun was replaced by cloud but this created interesting light from the town bridge.
