After a couple of quick visits to the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden I enjoyed seeing some interesting aeroplanes including a replica of a Dehavilland DH71 Tiger Moth. There are no originals as only two were ever built. Apparently not a great plane! The image below shows it along with the more familiar ubiquitous DH86 Tiger Moth thid one from the Cambridge Flying Group ‘parked’. They were moving planes around as they were on my return yesterday. It had been a while since I wandered around the collection and, as the aeroplanes move around, there is always something to see. I have added a few photos from yesterday in the hangers. There are often interesting visitors on the airfield and it was nice to see a Pitts and an Aeronca yesrterday and a Piper Super Cub on my previous visit.
