I don’t know where the time goes but the very warm weather certainly reduces my activity levels. Here is a selection of photos from the past week at Old Warden, The Lodge and Paxton Pits. I have a love hate relationship with insects. I love photographing them but am not so keen when they land on me. A constant challenge but worth the effort. There are plenty of butteflies , damselflies, dragonfllies and moths like the cinnabar moth caterpilers around amongst other flying creatures, like territorial robins. Of course other things fly and some rare examples were being shuffled around at Old Warden last week in preparation for an upcoming flying weekend. A rare and welcome chance to see them in the great outdoors and to get close to the cockpit of such classics as a Spitfire.
