Bremen to Copenhagen

Just time for a quick post from the trip here on a slightly cooler and windier day but still lots of sunshine. The journey was again primarily motorways, the A1 to be precise, up to the ferry from Puttgarden to Roby, taking me from Germany to Denmark. This is my first time in Denmark so I’m interested in how it feels as a visitor. The reason for this quick post is that I am off to the Tivoli Gardens for the evening and will post some pictures from there tomorrow, assuming they are any good. There is a Metro station about 3 minutes walk fromt the hotel which will get me there in about 20 minutes. Apart from the ferry crossing I decided to take a look at a small Danish sea port, marked yellow on the map, called Koge. It has one of the largest town squares in Denmark and I parked there and had a little walk down to the harbour and through a nice riverside park. The town has a gentle feel and a modern shopping centre. A nice introduction to Denmark. The sqaure is the heading picture and there are a few more from Koge and a few from the ferry including a friendly rook at Puttgarden.
