The weeks come and go with a usual pattern but it was nice to break the pattern with a pleasant lunch with a friend, Bob, from my aerospace days yesterday. It was an opportunity for a visit to the town market in the redeveloped market square. It is not on the scale it once was but the updated square certainly make it feel more like a nice market. The riverside park has some classic weeping willows and, like many parks in this area, a domestic population of Canada geese. There is a lot of work going on in the parkland at Anglesey Abbey to “mud proof” the paths with leaf litter. Despite the grey weather there were plenty of visitors enjoying the snowdrops, early daffodils and other winter colour.
