I am not routinely a monochrome photographer but sometimes the location and the light calls to me to go black and white. A visit to a routinely flooded day in St Ives was one such occasion. Here are a few snaps from yesterday. I will finish with a colour pop monochrome of a surprise visitor, a black swan. Most likely it has escaped from a local collection as it is a long way from its natural home.
