Mainly Gardens

Monday, 30 March 2026 09:39

My walks over the past few days have been largely in gardens. The great-crested grebe is nesting in the Swiss Garden in a very accessible location as are the greylag geese at the Lodge. The cherry tree by the stable block is a treat at this time of the year. As an aside, my first location at the Lodge was by the windows below the clock. The remainder of the post contains images from the Cambridge University Botanical Garden. The last couple of photos feature shadows, a feature which I enjoy when the sun  shines.
