I have not being going too far for a week or so, while waiting for some new spectacles, after a recent shift in my optical abilities. Fortunately I don’t need to go far to enjoy some outdoor time. The headline shot was taken along with most of the shots below while walking up to the optician in town. I can now see where all the greenery has gone. The green flyers in the window relate to this week’s local council election. Let me say I am happy with the result but disappointed that less than a quarter of those registered bothered to vote! I have added a snap from Thursday while walking to the polling station with a good indication of a change in the weather. I even managed about 50 spots of rain. It didn’t last long though. I’ll finish with some colour at the Lodge yesterday where the heather is coming into bloom and the ferns are heading for their autumn display, maybe a little early.
