We, the Moggies Band, were due to play a set at the Potton annual Apple Day to give Charlie and his band “Drunk and Disorderly” a break. Sadly illness prevented our attendance, not me this time. It is a shame, as we have missed a few years as September is usually one of my travel months. This year circumstances had moved my autumn trip to October, which is, now, also cancelled due to my optical issues. Not a great Autumn so far. Anyway the Apple Day is a great, and very well supported, local event with a lovely family vibe not to mention delicious freshly cooked samosas and, if you are really hungry, a mighty hog roast. Here are a few snaps, starting just as it was getting going and then when I decided to head home after Charlie’s band’s first excellent set, after the crowds had built up, as you can see.
