After my excursion into the past with images from Route 66 it is back to reality in Cambridgeshire. My eye issues continue but I am trying to accommodate them in the best way I can with visits to my local haunts with a camera. Ely was my destination last Sunday and I took my “usual” walk up to the Cathedral from the Maltings before coming back down through the parkland for a stroll along the river front. A friendly boat decided to come along at a nice moment when I was by a box of flowers. Thank you. Ely is always quite popular, for obvious reasons, with extensive free parking, and I managed to get the last spot in my preferred car park. Thank you again! On a sunny Sunday afternoon the little bar and restaurant terraces were full and even the geese came to see what all the fuss was about.
